"Quest" sounds a lot better than "Crisis", doesn't it? :-) I'm on a quest in my 49th year! Webster has several definitions of quest and this is my favorite:
"a chivalrous enterprise in medieval romance usually involving an adventurous journey"
There really is something to this mid-life quest, evaluation, search, making plans for the future thing! My quest will take me down many roads but the most important quests are:
.... the quest to figure out where God wants me to worship with other believers, the quest to discover a God-inspired creative outlet for me, the quest that will keep me growing in loving relationships and the quest to live in a way that causes laughter!
"A cheerful heart doeth good like medicine!"
Laugh loudly today and go on a quest!

Giggling Girls & Guffawing Guys
Last night we had 8 girls & guys between the ages of 9 and 14 spending the night. There was lots of giggling coming from the girls and a bit of guffawing coming from the guys. The girls put on a play, painted rocks, watched "Annie", played games, talked, colored, ate pizza and talked late into the night. The guys played Nintendo, computer games, something with legos, threw darts, ate pizza, played more Nintendo and I think they talked a little bit. I chuckled and enjoyed all the energy that buzzed around the house! Tonight I'm very tired but counting my blessings that the kids had such good old fashioned fun and I survived the evening!
